Jennifer Garner, born April 17, 1972, in Houston, Texas, was born within Charleston West Virginia. William John Garner served as an engineer for Union Carbide. Her move to New York in order to follow her dreams as an actor. When she was not appearing in Broadway productions, she also worked as a waitress.
