Kristen Noel Kristy Swanson, an American actor, is most well-known for her roles as Buffy Summers and Rebecca Becky Granger. Also, she played the roles in the television film Nightingales, the NBC series of the same name (which ran for only a few episodes) and Erica Paget from the CBS Drama Early Edition, and Marlowe Viccellio in the show Psych. Born in California, Swanson became interested in acting as a young child. The path she took to become an actor began with the field of advertising where she appeared in a variety of commercials. In 1984 she made her debut in a screen show of the sitcom on NBC called It's Your Turn. Her debut was on the large screen in 1986 romantic comedy Pretty in Pink. Known for her blonde hairlispand breathless voiceSwan has been relegated to playing minor characters over the last few years. She won an award called the Young Artist Award in 1989 for Best Young Actress in Horror or the Mystery Motion Picture for Flowers in the Attic.
